What happens if I register my account with a disposable phone number?
We highly recommend that you do not register your account with a disposable phone number, or a number that you cannot easily access. Doing so will lead to your account being locked.
Intel accounts require multifactor authentication. This means that you will periodically be asked to enter a code send to your phone number via SMS in order to authenticate login. If a user is unable to verify their account, they will be locked out. Changing a phone number will require an account reset, which can take up to 5-7 business days.
